Alejandro Zubrisky, BPT — Clinical Physiotherapist
אלחנדרו רובן זובריסקי · מייסד Recovery TLV
Clinical physiotherapist (BPT), certified strength and conditioning coach, and founder of Recovery TLV. 21+ years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal, sports and post-surgical rehabilitation, with additional background in neurological and geriatric care. Israeli Ministry of Health license #10-120163.
My Story
I grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, playing competitive basketball through my youth. My own injuries — and those of my teammates — led me to kinesiology. In 2004 I graduated with a Bachelor of Physical Therapy (Lic. en Kinesiología y Fisiatría) from Universidad Maimónides. I began my clinical career at INEBA — Instituto de Neurociencias Buenos Aires (2005–2009), treating patients after stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neurodegenerative disease. In parallel I worked at Ledor Vador in geriatric care.
In 2010 I made aliyah to Israel. I joined Clalit Health Services at the Beit Rivka Rehabilitation Center in Petah Tikva — orthopaedics, neurology and geriatrics — for 11+ years. While my Argentine credentials were being revalidated, I practised under my Argentine license; the Israeli Ministry of Health issued my local license (#10-120163) in December 2012.
In parallel I served as team physiotherapist for the Raanana Volleyball Club (2010–2012) and later for the Israel Football Association U-16 Youth National Team (2020–2021). In May 2023 I founded Recovery TLV — the clinic I always wanted to have: one patient per session, serious clinical assessment, and treatment that prioritises function over symptom suppression.
Clinical Philosophy
"My practice is grounded in clinical reasoning, functional assessment, and decision-making based on patient response, rather than protocol-driven treatment. I approach rehabilitation as a process of evaluation, intervention, and reassessment, where hypotheses are continuously tested against functional outcomes."
Pain is addressed when present, but it is not treated as an isolated target. Clinical decisions prioritise movement quality, load tolerance, motor control, and functional capacity, with the aim of restoring meaningful activity and long-term resilience rather than short-term symptom suppression.
I work exclusively one-to-one, without assistants or parallel sessions. Each session integrates structured clinical and functional assessment, therapeutic exercise and progressive functional loading, manual therapy (McKenzie, Mulligan, dry needling) when clinically indicated, and supportive technologies (TECAR, Class IV laser, electrotherapy, Deep Oscillation, virtual reality) used as decision-support tools — not stand-alone treatments.
A central goal of my practice is to build patient understanding and autonomy, enabling individuals to manage their condition, reduce unnecessary dependency on treatment, and maintain function over time.

Treatment Method
Every session is structured around a 4-stage clinical framework — not a template, but a process that adapts to the patient's actual response:
- 1Clinical & Functional Assessment — history, physical examination, movement and load analysis, differential reasoning.
- 2Personalised Treatment Plan — evidence-based, with measurable goals and objective progression markers.
- 3Active Treatment — therapeutic exercise, progressive loading, manual therapy and supportive technology used as decision-support tools.
- 4Reassessment — adjustment by actual response: adaptation, plateau, or change of direction.
Progress is monitored using objective and functional indicators, including range of motion, strength, coordination, movement efficiency, and performance in daily or sport-specific tasks. Treatment plans are revised or discontinued when clinical signals indicate insufficient adaptation.
Therapeutic Tools
Based on assessment findings and treatment goal, I may integrate:
The Certified badge indicates formal training with a certificate. I do not work from a "tech menu" — if a tool does not add specific clinical value to a case, it is not at the centre.

In addition to my degree and Israeli MoH license:
Member of the Israeli Association of Physiotherapists — World Physiotherapy member organisation since 1956.
